Falling is accelerated: industrial production in Ukraine failed for 5,4%.
Industrial output in Ukraine in August, 2013 decreased by 5,4% by August, 2012. As Public service of statistics on Tuesday reported, as a whole following the results of eight months recession was slowed down to 5,2% in comparison with 5,3% following the results of seven months.
Statistical department also specified that in August in comparison with July of the current year industrial production was reduced by 2,5%. Gosstat reminds that following the results of January-August-2012 industrial output increased by 1,2% by January-August-2011. As a whole industrial production in Ukraine last year was reduced by 1,8%.
In January of this year by January of the past industrial production decreased by 3,2%, in February — for 6%, in March — for 5,2%, in April — for 2,2%.
Indicator deterioration in August is in many respects connected with renewal of recession in the metallurgy, the made 2,4% whereas in July for the first time for long time in this branch growth by 1,6%, and acceleration of recession in chemical production to 25% from 18,8% was recorded before month.
